The Calamity Loan provided by SSS and PAG-IBIG has the same purpose of providing immediate financial assistance to members who are currently affected by the global pandemic.
Who are eligible for SSS Calamity Loan?
For a member to qualify he/she must be a resident of the Philippines and have not been granted any final benefit i.e. total permanent disability or retirement. Must have no existing loans in SSS and have at least 36 total monthly contributions, 6 of which should be posted within the last 12 months prior to the month of filing of the application.
The Calamity Loan must be fully paid before the member can avail of future calamity loans of SSS.
Maaring magloan hanggang Php 20,000.00 na may interest rate na 10% per annum at 1% penalty sakaling may delay sa pagbayad ng loan. Ang calamity loan ay dapat bayaran sa loob ng 27 na buwan. Para sa mga interesado, may dalawang paraan upang mag-apply:
1. SSS website at
2. Magdownload ng SSS mobile application.
Magregister muna at kumpletuhin ang detalye dahil kinakailangan na may username at password upang sa ganon ay maaring makapagdownload ng Calamity Loan application form.
Narito ang mga requirements na dapat ihanda para sa nalalapit na pagbukas nito sa publiko:
- SSS Calamity Loan Form
- Barangay Certification
- One primary ID (UMID, Driver’s License , Passport, PRC card or Seaman’s book)
- Two secondary ID (Philhealth , Company ID, Voter’s ID, Tin card)
Once the loan is approved, it will be credited thru members enrolled bank account. Thus, members must have existing bank account. Furthermore, please also note that the filing of the SSS CLAP applications shall be announced immediately to the public once the system is ready for launching.
